CHOOSE TO UNDERWRITE A SHOW, AN EVENT, EDUCATION PROGRAM, ADVERTISE OR PUT YOUR NAME ON SOMETHING

The businesses who support Springfield Little Theatre by underwriting shows and sponsoring events not only see the value of a thriving theatre for our community, but also understand the positive marketing exposure that comes with that support.

“We chose to invest a substantial part of our advertising budget with SLT for two reasons. First, we feel our target client demographic aligns with that of theatre patrons. Secondly, being involved in the community and supporting local programs and nonprofits is important to our company. We were very happy with the level of exposure we received. Our logo was on postcards, emails, media coverage, posters, social media posts, lobby advertisements… and I have to say that hearing our name announced on stage before the show started was amazing. We love Springfield Little Theatre!”

As a nonprofit community theatre, our ticket sales equate to less than half of our operating expenses. The underwriting support we receive from businesses and individuals is critical to the continued success of the theatre. We strive to create opportunities for businesses to partner with us and gain memorable exposure to the more than 60,000 audience members who attend our shows each year.

UNDERWRITING

Packages begin at $5,000 for Mainstage productions. The benefits of each package are worked out individually between the business or individual based on their goals and needs. The larger the commitment, the more exposure in front of our captive audiences. Baseline benefits include:

  • Onstage recognition at shows
  • Logo on website and printed marketing materials
  • Tickets to preview nights of shows
  • Ad in season playbill
  • Program insert recognition

EVENT SPONSORSHIP

In addition to live performances throughout the year, Springfield Little Theatre plays host to several fundraising events that bring in necessary funds to offset the costs of the performances. Sponsorships to these events not only provide exposure to a targeted demographic for your business, but tickets to the events as well.

PLAYBILL ADVERTISING

There are opportunities for ½ and full-page ads.  We partner with 417 Magazine to design an award-winning season playbill magazine that showcases the season supporters and provides an in-depth look at the organization. Advertising in our season playbill not only provides access to our audiences when they attend a show, but also to every 417 Magazine subscriber when the playbill is sent to them during the month of September. Many season playbills are kept as mementos by audience members and the cast and crew of shows to remember their experience at the theatre.

EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP

There are sponsorship opportunities available for businesses and individuals interested in marketing to families and supporting youth-based arts programs.  Our nationally recognized education department has grown to serve over 30,000 kids in our community each year. Now located in its very own building, The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for SLT, the SLT Education Department features an Education Series, SLT Studio Theatre productions, Film Lab, School Tour Program, three levels of performance troupes, competitive dance team, classes, workshops and more!
