The historic Landers Theatre, a 525-seat theatre, and The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre (The Judy) in and near downtown Springfield, Missouri are owned and managed by the Springfield Little Theatre.
Both are designated as a Springfield Historic Sites and are on the National Historic Registry. It is our privilege and our responsibility to serve as guardians for these extraordinary community treasures.
We have identified critical areas in immediate need of repair and restoration in both buildings.

THE LANDERS THEATRE has been in continuous use either as a legitimate theatre or as a motion picture house since it opened in 1909. SLT purchased the building in 1970. | THE JUDY. The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre (The Judy) was built in 1908 as an elementary school for the Springfield Public Schools. SLT purchased the building in 2019 to be its dedicated education facility. |
